Kalak has been living with cerebral palsy, a condition which affects the mobility of his limbs, since he was only 3 months old. Now, as a teenager, Kalak would love to become a professional sign language interpreter. In order to achieve this goal, Make-A-Wish Hong Kong granted Kalak’s wish for a semi-automatic electric wheelchair, to help him go further, and see more of the world.
Kalak told us, “I believe that regardless of whether a person has a disability, they have the ability and need to be a part of society. With my wish granted for an electric wheelchair, I hope that I can explore more of the wonders of the world, and promote inclusivity. I hope that I will be able to help more people in need to integrate into society through sign language”.
Donate today and restore hope with a wish for other wish kids just like Kalak.
