I wish to be a policeman 

Gabriel, Age 6, Brazil
Gabriel, an adorable six-year-old boy, has Lymphoma. His one true wish was “to be a policeman.” With the help of more than 50 policemen, Make-A-Wish Brazil granted Gabriel’s wish.

He started the morning off by watching a film about the police’s job, during which he learned as much as he could about policemen, asking them questions and listening attentively. He was able to talk to a policeman by radio, while sitting in a police car - a truly special experience. After having lunch with all of the policemen, he was “trained” by the Captain and was nominated as a lieutenant. He even received a real medal!

The experience was nothing short of amazing. The day ended with Gabriel making a speech, thanking everyone for his special day, touching everyone who took part in this extraordinary event!

Make-A-Wish Brasil began in 2008 and to date, has granted 25 magical wishes like Gabriel’s!
