Yume, age 16, Brazil

Yume is a beautiful sixteen-year-old girl who has a rare condition called Leigh Syndrome. She has limited movements due to her condition, and is unable to walk or speak. However, Yume communicates very well through her friendly presence and unique style.

Yume, like most teenagers, has a favorite television show – Big Brother Brazil. She is wild about Big Brother and spends her days watching as many episodes as possible! She knows everything about the contestants, both on and off the show.

For her wish, Yume, her parents, and two Make-A-Wish Brazil volunteers were invited to Rio de Janeiro to watch Big Brother's final day!

Yume was all smiles when she saw her favorite contestant Francine, who received third place in Big Brother’s competition!
